Sharing the studio

May has been an amazing month for sharing the studio, perhaps the busiest yet.

On a Sunday, early in the month I was part of Open Studios West Gippsland, and was delighted to welcome 30 visitors to the studio. I love being part of this event as it never fails to make me clean up the studio! After the day is over the studio seems to retain the visitors’ energy for weeks.

Robyn, Laima, Courtney and April came for Linocut Lessons. Although I teach linocut printmaking, there is often an exchange of techniques, and I learn something new from each student who comes here to create.

VCE Art student, Xavier spent last Sunday making his final folio prints on my press.

They are very beautiful.
