Barn Owl Blinking, linocut, detail. The print is a Barn Owl Blinking, linocut, detail. The print is a wide landscape image designed as a book illustration, for Rodney Williams' Haiku and Tanka book: A bird-loving man, published in 2013. I handprinted a small edition of 20. There are 9 left. Contact me at the studio or click the link in my profile @helentimburydesign to learn more.

I was introduced to Jaxon on Sunday at Jo Draisma’s exhibition. Moments later we were collaborating on this drawing. It was the highlight of my weekend.

It’s August already and the red wattlebirds have It’s August already and the red wattlebirds have discovered the blooms of local Callistemons, wattle and even (in my front yard ) a camellia.

If you have one of my calendars, you may have turned over to this linocut. Both the original linocut and a card version are available in my store and in the studio. Head to my website, link in bio, to browse this and many more cards.

I'm not sure if I should be telling you this... as I'm not sure if I should be telling you this... as I was making this 'Clay Pot' handcoloured linocut the title in my head was 'Mr Potty Man' ( I know, right). Perhaps I'd been affected by my materials but if you look hard enough, the pot has a wicked grin — please tell me you can see it.
This linocut is a tiny edition of 10 and there is just one left. Get in touch or head straight to the shop, link in profile, to make this colourful small print your own.

An exciting collaboration: My linocut, “I want to read but there are pom poms in my head” has been artfully animated by John McGeoch in this short film. Voice by my daughter Alice Grant.
