I’m sorting out the studio in readiness for this Sunday’s Open Studios West Gippsland Event. Lately, I’ve been turning some of my linocut prints on fabric into cushions and wall panels. Before that, I was using my linocut images on book cover designs. When: Sunday Feb 10, 2013, 10am-5pm www.openstudioswestgippsland.com
Book cover design created over the weekend
Front cover for the Baw Baw writers’ Network. My design, created in indesign, uses four versions of my beetle linocut. The editorial team wanted something quickly with bold, vibrant colour. (tick!)
A pleasant place to work
Baw Baw Village is the most beautiful place in summer. Each time I looked up, a flame robin flitted past. There is a yellow robin in this design I’m cutting. It’s almost finished.
The Serigraph Gallery
This is one of the places you can buy my prints and cards Located at Neerim South on the roundabout www.serigraphgallery.com
A gift from a friend
