My studio is at the end of our driveway. Huge winds blew every leaf in the street down our driveway and it all ended up in front of my studio. I took this photo before sweeping it all up. The huge foreground sculpture is a sphere I made from the grape vines that grow along the fence of the driveway.
One of the best places to sit for a thoughtful moment. The downhill ski runs at the village form park-like avenues through the snow gums. I prefer this place in summer, although on this day last month the March flies were crazy and we didn’t pause for long before heading back to the lodge.
Come and see my prints and cards at the market tomorrow [9am-1pm]. The great @warragulfarmersmarket is right next door so bring your shopping bags! Hint: those farmers are up a little earlier than us bohemian artist types, so get there as early as 8:30am before they sell out of the fresh stuff!

This multiplate linocut went to a new home this afternoon. It is a complex work printed from four separate lino plates, with some masking and hand colouring. I made a limited edition of ten; The Blue Rose 31x35cm
Drawing on years of linocut print proofs, this is a collage referencing wild bush in Victoria. It is a new work for the @ficifolia_festival art show.
What a beautiful stem you have Silver daisy. Mt Baw Baw provides endless inspiration.
Assemblage of lino print remnants on the studio table.
Rewarding sky after getting back into summer hockey last night
I’ve been hand colouring this linocut in the shop this week. The shop has big windows giving good light (and an air conditioner) but I’ll still be glad of the solitude of the studio when I get back there. The print is Campfire in the Dunes, limited edition of 20. Available at the shop next week, also at the Warragul Arts Market Feb 16, in my online shop and from the studio.
A few of my linocut owls watch over my all-things-linocut merchandise display at the Emporium. I’m minding the shop tomorrow and between customers hoping to get a little hand colouring done on some prints
