There’s nothing quite like getting away for a restorative weekend in the Australian bush. It’s second nature for many of us.
The idea for this new linocut came from a customer who admired my caravan linocut and wanted an artwork featuring a red VW van (complete with mountain bikes) as a gift for active outdoor loving family. I created a design adding a small dome tent, wallabies, the southern cross constellation and a waning crescent moon in the clear night sky.
The small edition of 25 linocut is hand printed from two blocks on warm white Hahnemuhle paper and hand coloured. More information below:
