Introducing this cheery little Australian bird which lives in my home town. The Golden Whistler even has a reserve named after it in Drouin! Only the male has the bright yellow chest.
I made an edition of 12 tiny linocuts for Sally Caston’s print exchange based in South Australia. I tested my colour palette making a few artists proofs and then set off printing the edition. Of course I made many extras as you do when you are printing for an exchange, and now I’m able to share the rest of the prints with you.
