Photos from open studio weekend

What a brilliant weekend! Thanks to those who popped in. It was wonderful to  meet new people and reconnect with friends around the press.

The weather was a sweaty 33 degrees on Saturday. Thank goodness for the air conditioner I had installed a few years ago. It meant I had to have the door shut all Saturday, and that required an idiosyncratic door opening device, see photo, due to a dodgy old but much loved door knob.

Sunday was dark and rainy, so visitor numbers to the studios were a little down over the entire weekend.

I had a playful time printing moth linocuts and exploring some new inks. The moth prints on vintage book pages (Anne of Windy Willows) were gifted to my lovely visitors. Thank you for coming along, chatting about my latest monoprints, buying a card or print, or booking a workshop.

Huge thanks to Simon Griffin of Homegrown Design and Baw Baw Shire Council for the photos. The moth and door photos are my own.
