Thank you for a successful exhibition

My May exhibition of linocuts at Red Tree Gallery in Jindivick was wonderful.

The opening event on May 2 was before Victoria’s pandemic restrictions. The sky was blue and Autumn leaves bright. People were in their happy place that Sunday afternoon. I was still a little concussed after a knock I’d copped playing hockey but was overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to those who attended the opening. This was something I’d not been able to organise for over a year due to the restrictions, and it was quite a life affirming occasion for me.

I appreciate the support of the many people who took time to visit the exhibition over the few weeks. Thank you to those who purchased artworks—both mine and Laurie’s—for their homes. The exhibition closed at the end May just before the 4th Victorian lockdown began.
