Thank you to the many visitors who dropped in to the studio over the weekend. It was lovely to see you, have a chat and show you what I’ve been doing. I appreciate the interest you have taken in my work and studio. I always feel energised after Open studios, ready to hop into new ideas and turn the page. It was a productive weekend spent printing and proofing birds onto cotton rag paper using phthalo green ink. This was something small and simple enough to print while I talked with people. One of the nicest things is that the studio is clean and ordered now, although it won’t be long before I’m drowning in paper again! I look forward to my next open studio March 25&26 2017.
Now I’m gearing up for markets. I’ll be at quite a few over December. All have local produce and artisan products. It’s great way to pick up stocking fillers, get great fresh food for sharing with friends or just chill out and enjoy being outside.
